Divided We Fail, Together We Soar
Soul Mates Rise to the Call of Magick

The enemy's eyes are now solely focused on the Soul Mates. Since they have strengthened their defense, it wouldn't be long before the evil being in pursuit shows itself.

But the evil being, Nickolas, also has his eyes on beautiful and powerful Lola. He wants, more than anything, to take her as his own possession. She would be a perfect trophy queen when he replaces Marcus as King.

And there is nothing he would not do to be able to claim her. She is the key to his success--even if he has to slay the man who came from his very loins to get to her!

EXCERPT
"MARCUS, if your powers didn't come from your mother, then it had to be your father who is the warlock."

"Yeah, you're right and just how scary is that? A rapist with magical powers running loose in the world cannot be a good thing."

"Well, we shouldn't jump to conclusions just yet," Lola said. "Let's see what the rest of the information here says."

However, it turned out that other than that, there wasn't a lot left to be digested.

For instance, there was nothing about Mariana's family, as if she just appeared from a cabbage patch. They talked about the information that they did have to see if anything made sense or if they could figure out anything else from what they had. All they could do was see if they might possibly be able to trace some more information about Mariana.

"By the way, when is Sable arriving?" Marcus asked Lola.

"Oh, she'll be swooping in any time now, I imagine," Lola laughed. "You know Mother. She likes to do the unexpected."

"Yes, that she does," Marcus agreed. "Do you think we've got enough time to do a little swooping of our own?"

"I've always got time to swoop with you," Lola whispered as she went into his arms and started to nibble on his neck.

"Hmmm, now that's what I like to hear." He stood up and lifted her butt towards the edge of the table.

Lola giggled. "Here?"

"Yes," Marcus replied in a husky whisper after pushing the piles of folders away and putting a spell on the doors so they wouldn't be disturbed. "There'll be too much people on the way to our bedroom and I don't think I can wait."

She held his head when he swooped down to kiss the breasts exposed after he's expertly unclasped and loosened her bra. Then threw her head back and moaned as her back arched when he slid one of her turgid nipples inside his warm mouth to...

About the Author

The moment Sandra Ross held her first romance novel when she was ten, she knew she was going to write romance. At thirty now, a prolific reader and a freelance writer, she's since then expanded her preferences from just romance to romance with a dash of now trending sub-genres—paranormal , fantasy, sci-fi even, and erotica. She loves challenging herself and would write on a dare. On a normal day, she would be found in her herb garden collecting spices for her kitchen or ingredients for her potions; in her huge eclectic Provencal kitchen with the big modern oven cooking pots and pans of food for her family of one husband and three kids (an ardent daughter and two boisterous sons) that'll probably last for weeks; in her library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and an e-reader in her hands as she reads the latest short story erotic hit; or scribbling pages upon pages of different erotic lifestyles, searching for the one that feels like it was inspired by just the right mix of passion, story line, and sex. Aside from these activities, the rest of the time she'd be found in front of her laptop typing the latest Sandra Ross concoction for her readers.
