The obscured door on the interior wall clicked open when I pressed it, revealing a narrow hallway illuminated by dim floor lights. The dizzying amount of handholds on the opposite wall… I touched the control panel, turning the shower on full, liking the way she flinched when the hard spray rushed against the tile. Pamela headed past Meghan without a word, stepping into the warm water with a long, satisfied sigh.
