With her cheek against his shirt, the smell of fresh laundry combined with his cologne and male scent, made her weak. She fingered his hair at the nape of his neck and rubbed his hard thigh. The scare he’d just had from Natalie’s overreaction had left him emotionally raw. She wanted what he hadn’t given her, commitment, family.
