After the Rains by Deborah Raney is a sequel to the book Beneath a Southern Sky and was released on 2002.I read the book when I was in my Junior year in College.I was deeply moved by this book.It revolves around Natalie and the issues she encountered in life.How she is left between her mom and his dad which is far away and she wishes to know more.Her struggle in coping up with the death of her best friend that was caused by her recklessness.She was also torn between two loves of her life, leaving her to make a great decision.An inspiring book of love and forgiveness, if you would read it, don’t forget a hanky.
