A.I. Apocalypse (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

I thought this books was pretty good. The parts I enjoyed most were the randomly placed references to things that we know and love today. Such as Dungeons and Dragons, and Windows based computers. Also loved the comment of 'There is NO logical reason why that should have worked' (You'll have to read it to know why thats funny!)I did think that the ending was a bit anti-climactic. I thought it would be more ... aggressive? The fighting action was good, but, the ending happened so quickly and with only two parties really involved that it didn't live up to the expectations that the rest of the book was leading up to. The world most certainly could have been decimated .. but as it happened, I wouldn't exactly call it 'apocalyptic'.It is a pretty easy and quick read though, and well worth it even if just for the funny references to current tech and games. - CJ This was kind of more of the same as Avogadro Corp, but a little in the future. I found some aspects to be unbelievable and kind of weird. Like (you discover on the first couple pages, so no spoiler), the guy from Avogadro Corp that liked the AI is now for some reason the ONE DUDE who hangs out in a secret bunker or warehouse that holds the AI.It was fun and easy to get through quick, so I liked it.

What do You think about A.I. Apocalypse (2012)?

An intersting book with some original ideas about computers and there development.
