Kim asked, cocking her head as she stared at Leah’s welcome packet. “No,” Leah said flatly, holding the invite with shaking hands, wondering how anyone could have been so wrong about her. Just who told someone her interests included scuba, free diving or boat rides? She folded it up and set it to the side, then put her hands over her eyes for a rest from the hot tropical sun streaming through the open doors leading onto the deck. “Want to go try out the infinity pool to take your mind off it?” Kim asked, placing a hand on Leah’s shoulder. “Yeah, we can talk about it,” Mara said. Leah looked up gratefully. There was something vaguely familiar about these women, something that had her feeling a kindred spirit with them, and she was happy that on top of that, they also seemed to be really nice, thoughtful people. Kim whipped her shirt off and Leah gaped, but then realized Kim wore a pink bikini top underneath.
