Chad stopped walking and pointed ahead. “We’re here.” Just before us rose a tall, gray castle with dark inky towers and turrets, and a murky cloud rising out of the mist that made my blood run cold. Not exactly a place for a party. Surrounding the castle was a wide moat. The drawbridge was up. On the rampart, I could see well-armed guards marching back and forth. “I don’t think they’re going to break out the red carpet for us.”
