Crazy Sexy Diet: Eat Your Veggies, Ignite Your Spark, And Live Like You Mean It! (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
This book was a real treat for me. Great design, super readable, full of positivity, self-love and fun. I like the fact that Kris is a positive person, but she's not that annoying sugary type. She helped me to organize the information I already had about eating healthy and added some very nice and useful tips. I also appreciate that she inverviewed many specialists, because this adds a bit of credibility for those who don't trust people without specialised education. This book apparently isn¨t for everyone (my family gave me some very curious looks when I was reading it), but once you start digging not-so-mainstream lifestyle, I bet you'll love it! :-) Love Kris Carr. Love the idea of upping the intake of vegetable matter in life. Love the idea of better self care. Really love the idea of authentic spirituality being woven into daily life. Rating it 3 stars b/c, for me, this overhaul is/was daunting and ultimately a failed attempt to reinvent how I live. Since I don't love failure, I'm a little down on the extremity of the plan set forth in Crazy Sexy Diet. Note that I believe it is worth the read, and it was a positive catalyst for me (I simply recommend smaller steps, in order to make this many changes stick).
