Cronache Di Piccoli Miracoli (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
The very need of finding comfort in such gooey tales, the unwillingness to abandon the concept of good vs. bad -and furthermore, failing to comprehend the inexistence of it- are common habits of societies which they should avoid, for the sake of intellectual progress. And guess what- it has been said many times over and over throughout centuries to come! The saddest part of this huge energy-drain is that not a single soul managed to show this to this unlucky author. And yet, the fact that it sells enough to be named as "The new York Times Bestseller", pretty much sums the title up for those eyes to see. I thoroughly enjoyed this book by first-time novelist Darcie Chan. Her next book, Mill River Redemption, will be released in about 3 weeks. I am already checking the holdings of my local library so that I will be able find a copy asap. One of the major appeals of this book is that it is set in a small town. Having lived in several small towns as well as cities, I realize that my "heart" will always be with the small towns.
What do You think about Cronache Di Piccoli Miracoli (2013)?
Pretty sappy, short read. Not exactly Pulitzer Prize material here.

I loved this. One of the nicest stories I've read in a long time.
