The remaining Aranea solders were still in guard of their camp when they got to the compound. They let everyone out of the tunnels and threw Caleb inside. “You know Caleb Ariel?” Connor asked as they stood in front of the tunnel door. “Yes, I met him a while back when his father came to ask my parents to join forces” she answered as she looked at Jack to see his reaction. “Are you going to kill him?” she asked. “We’ll see what to do later, now we have to keep guard of this territory, the other Reigns have to be making plans to rescue him” Connor said as he looked at Ryan and ordered him to take charge of the patrols. When the rest of the group went to their rooms, Ariel went inside the tunnel and found Caleb curled up in a corner. “I brought you some water” she said as she went and knelt beside him. “You have got to be kidding me Ariel, water, for a vampire?, how about you exchange that for a glass of blood, that would surely quench my thirst” he said as he looked up and faced her Her face as beautiful as he could remember. “Thank you for saving me back there”
