I knew there was a lot of machinery on the lower level but I had no idea what most of it was used for. I can’t help but grin at how happy everyone is and at the thought of being able to rebuild so much faster with all the supplies available to us. The man across from me with all the farming experience is shaking his head in disbelief. He leans forward to be heard and booms out his question at me. “Young lady, how exactly did you come to be in the possession of all of this? The bunker, the supplies, this magic computer?” The smile dims on my face at the reminder that the people who put me here are gone but I push past it to answer his question. Everyone turns their eyes to me to hear my answer and Rex reaches for my hand. “My father was a soldier in the military. One of his best friends and my godfather is…was, a high ranking general.
