The weekend with him seemed like a wonderful dream, and the following week she was still walking on clouds. On her way to the shop, she enjoyed the sights. It was December and cold, but that didn’t deter her from walking to Vee’s. She bundled up against the chill, and enjoyed a brisk stroll along the streets. The holiday season was reflected in the brightly decorated store windows, and strings of tiny white lights in the trees or as lattices to decorate the buildings. The sidewalks were packed with shoppers, lending to the festive atmosphere. Vivienne had to make several purchases for her Christmas list, and later that week planned to shop with Lana. The eye-catching windows of Macy’s weren’t far from her apartment, and she’d lingered over the sparkle and glitter behind the glass. Jacob had several outings planned, including visiting the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, followed by shopping. Saks Fifth Avenue was right across the street from the tree.
