What I hadn’t expected was to see what I did. In the middle of the precinct, surrounded by cops, my brother was taking on the very man that was going to kill him with no remorse and collect what he came there for. What shocked me more was that there was no fear in Nate’s bloodied glare. There was only determination. This was a side of Nate I’ve never seen. But then that last swing by Vin knocked Nate back. I knew what was coming.
