It might also have been the short sword handle occasionally poking out from under the coat. Yeah, that was probably why everyone defiantly averted their eyes as I walked down the streets of my hometown − La Fortunata district, Eureka.
Yeah, I get the irony, too. There was nothing fortunate about the constant appearance of supernatural creatures and the fear that permeates the air around here.
