Where to start... I liked the first book a bit more, which isn't always the case for me when starting a new series. I just couldn't get into the cousins in this book. I found them annoying and/or uninteresting. The story line was good, but not enough twists or moments to make me gasp. The book kept my interest, but I wasn't rushing to get to the end. I found the whole military top secret stuff to be a bit overboard as my husband was in the Army. I will continue to read the series as I like the main characters and I love the setting. Although Becca makes me wish I lived on a farm and made jams for a living. If the pay was good enough... I would! Becca Robbins sells homemade (on her own farm)jams and preserves in her local farmers market. Her best friend Linda, who sells pies in the booth next to her, asks Becca to be her Maid of Honor at her wedding to the Navy Seal Drew and Becca can't say no. Becca is overwhelmed by all of the preparations, but then when the future mother-in-law is murdered and a fellow merchant disappears Becca really has her hands full. I love this series, all of the regular characters are likeable and in this book additional characters are downright quirky. It's well written, with lots of charm, and I love the recipes,
What do You think about Fruit Of All Evil (2011)?
Lots of surprises, waiting for the next book.
