"yes I would think that would work."Halt had been earlier hit with a arrow it had only nicked him in the arm from the genovasan's bolt but the genovesan had laced it with poison and Halt had gotten infinitely sick Will had gone to Malcolm but apparently he hadn't gotten there fast enough what will happen from that point on? . . . .. I loved this book as much as the rest though it scared me when I read the title and it said Halt's Peril. I was so afraid that halt was going to die I almost didn't read it. Once I read it I never regretted it at all. This series is one of my favorite series, because of the medieval theme. I love the way John Flanagan develops his characters through out the series.Over all this was a great book I can't wait to read the next one.

A 3.5 but I rounded to a 4 because I'm still enjoying the series as a whole. Took awhile for things to get under way. About halfway through the book, in fact. I thought it was going to be another book split in 2 like books 5 and 6. My heart skipped a beat at the beginning of chapter 35. *whew!* Glad Flanagan didn't do anything drastic. Again, love the camaraderie between Will, Horace, and Halt. They're so great together.
