I think, in my heart-of-hearts, I wanted this to be like the Bill The Galactic Hero stories. I wanted it to be funnier and better, and not still be introducing new characters three chapters from the end of the book - an end which, incidentally, was all very quick and convenient and things. I think I wanted a Bill The Galactic Hero story. The book came across as a series of little ideas smooshed together to make a whole. There wasn't a main plot and a sub-plot. There was just a series of sub-plots which didn't really gel together all that well.Meh. I enjoyed this story line about a superstrong, indestructible (for the most part) mutant who enjoys life being a good between the various mob bosses on his space station until a planet-sized ship threatens to end it all. I could easily imagine this as a comic book...I mean graphic novel. The action is quick and lively, the characters are pretty much what you might expect. It's a good summertime read. I woud certainly read more by this author.
Spotted as Kindle Deal - title caught my eye - generally good GR reviews

I'll probably read the sequels. Interesting universe, and I love Hank.
