She brushed some snow from his hair. “Hi.” “Hi.” He smiled, and her pulse picked up. “Ready?” “Ready.” She stepped outside. “Where we headed?” “I thought we’d brave the mall. Then we can stop at Something’s Brewing Café for the best hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows you’ve ever tasted.
