Although she’d already had two, Gwen poured herself another cup of coffee just for something to do while she waited to hear what had Adam’s drawers in a bunch. Adam placed his cup beside hers for Gwen to fill. “So…where were you?” “Really, Adam, I don’t see where what I do on my off days is any of your business.” “I’m making it my business.” “Well, you do that.
