I stomped downstairs to the kitchen to have breakfast and coffee with Sam. I swear if I see Nic at the ranch today I’m going to murder him. A voice in my head kept telling me it was wrong and I was going to regret it. Even though I felt a tinge of guilt over wanting to cause Nic bodily harm I chose to push it to the back of my mind and ignore it. I didn’t even come out of my room for the rest of the day yesterday. Sam came up to check on me and that’s when she seen my mark. After explaining what happened she wanted to chase after him right then and there. But I told her revenge is sweet and it was mine to take.
Sam knows me well enough that she begged me not to do something stupid. She didn’t ask me not to do something I would regret because she knows that no matter what I do I will not regret it. So she was happy with me promising not to do something stupid. Which I’m not. I’m going to do something brilliant. Something for everyone to see and something no one will ever forget.
