NERDS 2: M Is For Mama's Boy (2000) - Plot & Excerpts
The book M Is for Mama's Boy was a great book and it took place in Nathaniel Elementary. The main characters in this story are fifth graders who are international spies with special abilities. Duncan Dewey's glue-eating ability makes him stick to walls, Jackson's braces turn into mechanical devices you can use for anything, Ruby's allergies make it that she can detect danger and dishonesty, Matilda 's inhalers enables her to fly and blast enemies. These characters are not believable to me because the characters have superpowers. The conflict in this story is when the supercomputer that grants them their powers gets nullified by an adult who works for Simon (Choppers), the team's arch-nemesis and former comrade, things get dangerous. Out for revenge against the super-spies, Simon is determined to use his mind-controlling powers to take over the world and finally give the NERDS the ultimate humiliation. I like this novel because there is action, suspense, and humor. I would recommend this book to people who like and action and adventurous stories. This is a great book if you like lots of action, a fast pace, and spies. The book "Nerds-M is for Mama's Boy takes place mostly at Nathan Hale elementary school. Duncan is a member of a super secret spy organization called the NERDS. In the book Simon is back again planning to take over the world this time by taking over all the technology in the world. It's up to Duncan and his friends without their superpowers to stop him and his evil nemesis a computer genius. Personally thought this book was good but it was a little to young for me. This book is a great science fiction if you like gadgets and spies. You would like this book for it comedy and action. Overall I would rate this book a 3 because it was a little to young and seemed a tiny bit too off the edge of reality.
