He had long ago deduced that non-Transforms had as many instincts built inside them regarding Transforms as the Transforms did with each other. At no point in the past had the Transforms ever become 100% of a tribal or regional population. Normals survived them and lived with them. They had gained instinctive responses to Transforms, the same way they had to other wild animals.
