In another fabulous display of rampant imagination, Ms. Gliori once again threatens the lives of the Strega-Borgia clan. She can't seem to leave these poor people in peace.An impending inheritance, a vengeful relative, and a determined demon all come together to make the family's life a malestrom of malevolence. In the meantime, we learn some tidbits about the family's ancestry, discover the provenance of that large diamond in the front hall, and most intriguing of all, we get a glimpse into who and what our favorite nanny is. Oh, and along the way, there's some time-traveling, as well as some yoga. I could have done without Knot's fondness for poo, but Gliori's world is so fascinatingly insane that I'll overlook it. Can't wait to read more!
In fine form, this fun and fiendish series that still reminds me of a weird amalgamation of the Addams Family, Disney's "Mary Poppins," and Lemony Snicket, is on its third volume and a good read.Titus is dealing with his cursed inheritance, Pandora is worried she has lost her brother forever, Damp is discovering her magic powers, a demon is stalking the family in hopes of gaining Titus and Damp's souls and the precious Chronostone.
