The book started out with so much promise, with an interesting plot. That's why I kept reading it. I actually started liking some of the characters and caring about what happened to them. However, somewhere in the middle, it took a terrible turn and ended up being extremely stupid.I wonder how an author can start with a sensitive plot, about loss, poor decisions, and opportunities to make better choices, and end up with a completely unbelievable ending.I'll make sure I never read anything again by this author.
