It must be because I’m dreaming about him again. Except this time, he’s come to rescue me. Just when I’m about to give up. I hope I never wake up because then I’ll be forced to admit he isn’t real. It’s not like some stranger is going to show up to rescue me, then sweep me off of my feet and carry me out into the sunshine where we get a happily ever after. If I wasn’t so fucking exhausted, I’d snort at the ridiculousness of it all.
                  “Ayva, baby. I’m going to lift you and I want you to wrap yourself around me so I don’t hurt your back, okay?”
                  I frown up at the amazing blue eyes of my dream man. “But, what’s wrong with this bed right here?” He wants to go somewhere else before we have sex? Is he crazy? I might wake up at any moment!
                  He cups my face in his hands and his sapphire pools are turbulent as he gazes down at me.
