Adam points toward the shore Nate’s expression went blank as he was totally confused. “That’s not right,” he exclaimed. “The dock should be right there? There’s the beach and the rocky bank?” “Yeah, where’s the parking lot and where’s my vehicle?” “I swear to you man. I put in the right coordinates, maybe I’m rusty or that storm knocked us off the route. Anyway, we’re at least near land and should be able to figure it out. I’m sure once we get on land we’ll find our bearings.” “I’m going to pull the boat over near the beach and drop anchor. We’ll use the lifeboat to go ashore. We’ll find someone and find out where we are.” Nate steered the boat as close as he could to the beach and lowered the anchor. Then they lowered the life raft and rowed to shore.
