Doc Ock as Peter Parker/Spiderman continues to be really good and very dark. The bits with the Avengers were a little off - especially the art. But otherwise it is a good view to what choices Peter made which made him more and less effective at life and Spiderman-ing. And even a vision into Dr. Octavius could have been. With a real plot and story arc, and mostly good enough art. Clearly worth reading - which is more than I can say about a bunch of the rest of Marvel Now books. While there was nothing truly bad in the story ark of these compiled comic books of the Superior Spider-Man beyond the obvious part of how this is not actually Spider-Man. Not to mention killing of Peter Parker again. The Avengers unable to tell it was not Spider-Man in the body even though they have done so in the past without the high tech with those very same Avengers. It is rather badly written and plotted. The worst part is the actual interesting stuff that happens in the story is ignored yet we get pages of the Ghost of Peter Parker whining about how evil Doc Ock is while being Spider-Man. But nether is the story actually good. I keep hearing how amazing this run of the Spider-Man story was and I just don't see it. It is like the clone saga all over again.
Этот том тоже на уровне, может даже еще круче первого!

A let-down, but only because the two trades before it set the bar soooo goddamn high.
