Ampliamente recomendada. I feel really tormented that I am no longer a part of this narrative. The days that went into the reading of the book were as much emotionally challenging for me as it was for 'Massoumeh'. What a pity that her life was completely governed by the dictates of the other people! Still, she remained strong at every step- in her effort to forget Saiid, her perseverance towards getting that school diploma, the adjustment with her husband's revolutionary political leanings, et cetera. This was really commendable on her part. And the achievement of the book lay in portraying a singular depth of emotion that made the narrative a wholesome treat….
