It is ripening and fast improving in wickedness. In truth, I am loath and fearful to remain within its boundaries. I experience an awful and uncommon dread in my heart and spirit concerning the increasing audacity of the inhabitants, as well as the approaching appearance of the tokens of God’s displeasure.
