Where are we going?” “I'm going to show you my, now our, suite.” The doorway to the hallway to his suite was innocuous looking on the wall, and the hallway itself was unadorned. But he had spent time trying to make his suite warm and welcoming, despite the fact that he never brought anyone back there. He heard her gasp as she saw the rooms themselves. “Do you like it?” He was actually quite concerned that she wouldn't. But she turned and smiled. “It's really nice. I like the warm colors you've used.” “Thank you. Now these are for you.” He passed her the flowers and gift that had been on the side table. “That's so nice of you!” Fiona buried her face in the blooms, smelling them deeply. Seb was pleased that she liked them.
