Her breathing was erratic as sweat dripped from her forehead and the red silk sheets clung to her body. She turned and looked at the clock on the nightstand flashing four a.m. as her breathing evened out. Right as she was about to attempt to fall back asleep, she heard a rustling noise downstairs.
