It was terrible, I kept jumping from scene to scene... I kept looking back to see if I was missing any pages. I wanted to start reading more about flash, because I never really had before. But with my surprise the new 52 did not start with an origin story for Flash... I was truly thrown into his universe with only the knowledge from shows that I have previously seen. It did get better with the second story, and that's the only reason I gave it a two star rating. I am guilty of reading the relaunch of The Flash after watching the show, I am familiar with the Flash through Justice League and Super Friends but never picked up a title with only him until now. It is pretty good and I want to give it a higher rating than three stars, but it didn't keep me that captivited in the story. It mostly had to do with the relationship between Barry Allen and his childhood friend. It's such an overused plot and I'm sure it will be used frequently in other titles and books. I did find myself excited to see some of the ways Flash used his powers to add more awesomeness to them, for example: walking(running) through solid objects and not only his body but also his mind moving at super speed. Being a fan of the show I hope they add this to it at some point in the future.
What do You think about The Flash, Vol. 1: Move Forward (2012)?
Newly revived & revamped Flash back from the dead and just not grabbing my attention.

Fantastic art work. Story was a little disconnected.

A slow start, but the art makes up for it.
