The Fourth Awakening Chronicles Book I (2009) - Plot & Excerpts

Rod Pennington's fictional (maybe?) account of both 1 person's road to enlightenment, and the US government's attempt to control the next step, make for fascinating reading. The characters are believably human, the manipulations and press releases recognizable, and there is a promise that any Seeker can't miss. In fact, it lead me to Jeffrey A Martin's "The God Formula" in a desire to know more.If you are attracted by the Law of Attraction, if you even mildly consider it possible that our government (or the PTB) hides things from we, the People, -- read this book. I was impressed by this book. I thought the ending was quite cheesy, but overall the book was very well done. The premise was quite interesting. The characters were very well-developed, but with enough questions to keep you guessing. I agree with some of the reviews I read which state the "villain" in this particular case is lacking; however, the authors managed to provide enough tension despite that. It was entertaining and I will read more in this series.
