What a fascinating adventure!I’m always interested in reading about other cultures and their history, and I enjoyed this amazing story. It describes the adventures and the growing friendship of two boys from opposite tribes, as well as different backgrounds and social statuses, and is full of action, history, and romance. Well-developed characters and fascinating descriptions kept me captivated right from the start. A wonderfully imaginative and smartly written historical action piece aimed at YA's but also suitable for anyone interested in the era and good old-fashioned story-telling. Author Zoe Saadia has researched her book thoroughly but doesn't let the story get bogged down in irrelevant period details. The plot unfolds at a nice pace, building to a satisfying climax. I'm looking forward to more titles in this cool new series.
