Good fun adventure book, for a non American learning some facts along the way a simple story that rides along at a steady pace,a good balance of facts, adventure, characters that can make you laugh with them, the plot keeps you going, as like our main characters, you want to know the answers. This is a good summer read if your in the mind for lazy about and you want a book that keeps your mind ticking over but not heavy. This is a nicely crafted Quest story. If the plot line is a little unlikely that is the nature of quests from the Holy Grail on. The hero, Seth, finds a bank deposit ket in his grandfather's attic and that sets in motion all that follows. the heroine, Madison, could be developed more. Why is she motivated to help Seth and his grandfather, Arthur. It is a little absurd to imagine that the secret has been kept all these years, but I am willing to suspend disbelief in order to further the suspense. At the end I was left wondering what the future holds for Seth and Madison.
What do You think about The Lost Journal (2000)?
too long and drawn out. completely lost my interest in parts. I was pushing myself to finish it.
