I don't have any intention of going Paleo, at this time anyway, but as someone who is already gluten-free and in remission from an autoimmune disease, this looks to have a lot of good info in it and I do want to improve my diet and perhaps "approach paleo". As she says in the beginning, this book isn't just for people who have an autoimmune disease, but also for people who want to prevent it and improve some health conditions which may or may not be autoimmune-related. I only just started this but so far it definitely seems worthwhile. I enjoyed The Paleo Approach. Sarah explains autoimmune disease, and how diet can help heal you, in a way that made sense to me. It can be overwhelming to be diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. The Autoimmune Paleo protocol was recommended to me by multiple friends. They had seen how it could heal and suggested it to me. I got this book right away, and something click. While changing your entire lifestyle isn't easy, there comes a point where I realized it was live the way I was in pain, or change and live happy and free from my disease. I am just starting my journey, but I feel hope.
