This one centers around Thanksgiving time. I think it's pretty bad that people that are murdered in the series seem to be eating Phyllis' food! I feel bad for her. She gets to have her grandson for a couple weeks and has a great time with him. He's so smart. Then someone dies and her a Carolyn find the body. It all goes from there to the great conclusion Phyllis figures out, and that is who did it!Enjoy! Continues with the delightful, realistic small town vibe and a vibrant story. First annual Harvest Festival with (naturally) a baking contest. It's been more than a year since Phyllis was "involved" in a murder however when one of her own is accused, Phyllis decides once again to investigate on her won. I certainly never saw the ending coming and was quite flabbergasted by it!. I can't wait to try the recipes and see if I can find a baking contest of my own to enter- I'd love to be able to "tweak" the recipes like Phyllis does (but I'm not sure I'm that brave).
One dimensional characters, bad tv dialogue, giant leaps to get to the solution. Very much meh.

A light and enjoyable read - not a great mystery, but still a fun diversion
