The Rozabal Line (2007) - Plot & Excerpts

It is attention grabbing page turner and I have become a fan of the writer. The interesting part is; who is hero and who is villain is really confusing. And I must praise the mastery of the writer to jump from one millennium to another but continuation of the story line was impeccable. Well there are some down sides, at times it felt like reading an article or snippets of history. Plus in some cases the writer brought the same scene twice. Since I read it in a very short time I found that a bit unnecessary. Along with everything the tendency of pushing things towards India at times really far stretched. I do appreciate the patriotism but for the sake of a good storyline this should be avoided. But this book has the x-factor and it is indeed a fast paced thriller with convincing historical details of the case. The twists and turns are really mind boggling. Little hint it is about actually what happened after the crucifixion of Jesus and the role of Illuminati. I would highly recommend any thriller fan to read it and I will start with the other books of the writer. I picked up the book because I loved Chanakya's Chant and Krishna's Key and thankfully I didn't regret it one bit :DI loved reading it!!It took me 30 minutes to get a hang of the continuously changing time periods and the numerous characters being introduced, but when I did, I devoured it (it helped that I was on a vacation)! I enjoy religion and history and this was a heady mix of both. I wouldn't like to compare it to Dan Brown because they were also equally engrossing.I won't deny that it is a heavy read, but I found the style very captivating and informative.I would definitely recommend it :)

Quite impressive for someone's first attempt. Fascinating, fast, sinusoidal storytelling.
