I read this book over the summer break and I thought this book was very interesting. I thought it was interesting because I like star wars and it tells the story of one of my favorite characters in Star Wars, Darth Maul, and I know who he was and became to be later on, as the story progressed. He was just a young boy and grew into an apprentice to another character Darth Sidious. I would definitely recommend this book to any star wars fans that want a further story about who Darth Maul was and what happened to him. Not a very useful book in the end. Darth Maul was "raised" by Sidious and he was bad and killed some people and then fought Qui Gob and Obi Wan and then didn't die when he was sliced in half. We don't even get to learn if he had a real name, he was just Maul from the beginning. Yeah his life sucked but he was raised by a Sith we didn't except roses and honey. Basically his lot in life was to be evil and hate Jedi, if he was discovered by the Jedi he would have been good and harboured strong feelings against the Sith (can't hate them of course). Sounds about par for the course for any religious group really. Anyway yeah didn't learn anything new or at least nothing significant.
Kind of makes you feel sorry for Maul. Good back story.
