On the plus side, she and Jackie got along really well, sometimes way too well for the brothers’ peace of mind. But his mate had a friend and that he did like, even if the two were up to something. What, he didn’t know…yet. He’d figure it out, one way or another. Moving, he caught her hands in his. “Baby,” he whispered softly, pulling her in close. “He’s not going to care if the doodads and thingamajigs are all perfectly aligned. He’s coming to meet you,” he said, gently wrapping her up in his arms. His precious little mate was scared to death to meet her father. Talon had no idea why he was coming by the house except he was finally getting to meet Aiden’s mate.
