This was not a bad mystery and as this type of mystery goes there were not larger than life characters that I wanted to smack with a brick or what not, so all in all that was decent. My one problem with this is the author's just HAVING to have a character named Doc Holliday. Really? And I'm sorry but a character named Candy Holliday sounds like she should be a stripper and not just born on Halloween. Candy Holliday and her father run a small blueberry farm and sell assorted blueberry products in Cape Willington, ME. In the first chapter a local celebrity falls from a cliff to his death. Then right after the Blueberry festival another death occurs. When a friend is accused of the crime Candy vows to find out who really did it and free her friend. This story is full of blueberry facts and has recipes at the end. There are several possible suspects with secrets to hide. Good start to a cozy series.
I was not really a fan. I thought it would be better than it was.
