Spencer Nixon adjusted his tie and stared at the headline of Coran Williams’ trashy tabloid, the one he carried everywhere these days. It was a reminder of the mission ahead, the reason he and his fellow rogue SEALs of Team Ten were working day and night. They had to find the true killers of their beloved teammate Nick Matthews and clear their names so they could get back to business as usual. He shoved the paper back into his pocket. Since the damned article had run on the front page of the DC Times a week prior, he’d used it to stoke his already soaring anger levels even higher. All these lies and manipulations were just one more reason he wanted to find Coran Williams, the owner of the DC Times and Williams Publishing, and set him straight. Twice already, there’d been attempts to mess with the team, to try and stop them from discovering the truth. The first was the explosion at Williams Publishing, which had almost taken out his teammate Gage and Anna, his girlfriend.
