Bennett had called Harper and Shep earlier that day, and they’d both said they would take care of it. Just one more thing Bennett had done for her. After he finished cleaning the kitchen, they spent the evening sitting on her couch and kissing for a good couple of hours, a task that in no way hurt her head. Bennett had baseball practice on Wednesday night, so there were sadly no hours of making out. This was not the case for Thursday. Bennett made Mel dinner at his place, and they watched the season two finale of Game of Thrones. And instead of starting the third season, they got horizontal on his couch, where they stayed until well after midnight. On Friday afternoon, Mel met up with Grace, Harper, and Paige at Annie Madison’s seamstress shop. The dresses for Grace’s wedding had come in, and all of the girls were getting fitted. When they were finished, they all went to dinner and called it an early night.
