The smile disappeared when he ventured an underbrowed glance at Aricles. “I am concerned that she hasn’t shifted back, though.” Aricles reached out a gloved finger and stroked the purring tabby behind the ears. “She will shift back when she’s good and ready, not a minute before. Don’t worry, Indigo reverts to this form for relaxation or” -- he favored the prince with an arch look -- “whenever she feels threatened. What on earth could have upset her so?” Rickard remained silent, mouth tightening.
