The girl named Clarice wasn’t buying it. Her eyes were still jittery. “I know about you,” she said. “I know you were Ariel, and your last name is Baggett, isn’t it? I’ve heard about the Baggetts. My father said the Baggetts are the …” She paused, looking embarrassed.
