Nicola was nowhere to be seen, but he heard the faint chirp of the bird and followed the sound towards the tech room. He found her standing outside the locked tech room door. Her feather eyebrows looked like thunderclouds over angry green eyes that reminded him of Bryn. “Perky’s in there. I want her out, now.” “You should have thought about that before you set Lo’s car on fire.” “It wasn’t my idea.” Scott jerked Savvy’s arm just enough to get his attention. “Why’d you do it?” “Diversion,” Savvy muttered.
