This is my 2.5 year old daughter's favorite series. This is our second time getting it from the library, and when her father brought her home, she said, "Mommy, the library gave us Bink & Gollie AGAIN!!! And they gave us THREE Bink & Gollie stories!" (Which is to say, mommy reserved all three Bink & Gollie books so that the books would be waiting for us to pick them up.) So, a very enthusiastic five stars from my little girl. We really enjoyed this one. Great detailed imaginative pictures, it captivated my 5 yr old as well as my 3 yr old twins. Took us a bit to figure out they both were girls but in the end it was obvious. All three of my boys enjoyed this book even though its main characters were girls. The stories were something they each could relate to and yet not easy to guess the ending, which made it more fun. Although it was a chapter book, there weren't really enough words to make it a stand alone reader, maybe somewhere around a level 1 or 2 reading book. Too easy for advanced readers, but still fun. My 5 yr old asked for more Bink & Gollie books and that's what I was hoping for. They've already been added to our hold list at the library, which is once again past 100 books!
What do You think about À Deux, C'est Mieux! (2013)?
Bink and Gollie go to the fair! The first section was as silly as an old cartoon. Loved it!
