2 States - The Story Of My Marriage (2000) - Plot & Excerpts
This is the first ever Chetan Bhagat book I read. When I bought the book I was highly excited about it but later on one of my friends with a great taste in books said it was yuck! so obviously I started reading it with a negative biased mind. But as I was reading, I actually liked it.. there's no denying that it does sound like a hindi movie and the writing is not the best I've come across so far. Still what I liked was the essence of the story: they fought for what they knew they deserved and wanted. In a time where you see people walking out on one another the moment things get a little complex, this story gave me the idea that there still may be people out there who fight for the love they think they deserve. A superb book!Beautifully written and narrated! Its autobiographical and therefore spot on!!I am some1 who has felt the same about Indian culture and complexities of North Ind vs South India so I can relate! It's a must read for any1 who is interested in Indian culture!Luv the character of Ananya and the way she is narrated,Chetan Bhagat will be safe at home (You know what I am talking about!) Hehe :)5 stars
