30 Lessons For Living: Tried And True Advice From The Wisest Americans (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
30 Lessons for Living gives very good advice about marriage, rasing children, etc. I agree with all of the advice in the book. Since I'm already one of the older (and hope wiser) Americans I've decided that my life wasn't any different than those in the book. I would recommend this book to those just starting out in life for some guidelines but maybe it's more fun and challenging to experience life as you take each day one by one and always realize that there's always tomorrow. The lessons in this book are nothing new and probably nothing you haven't heard before, but it is nice to be reminded of many of them. The author researched this book by gathering information from Americans age 65+. As someone who has worked primarily with that age group I found this an interesting read. I think the book serves as a good reminder for us to look at our own lives to see if we are really getting everything out of it that we want and if we are not, what things are we over looking. Life it too short and this book just helps to drive that home.

So great to hear about life from those who have lived it.
