Great beginning- but everything went down hill. The character was a bit weak, and Emily wasn't held to her character. It seemed like she suffered from some type of MPD, but it was confusing because it didn't benefit the story, plot, or character in anyway. I liked the idea, but I felt like it could have been done better. It was an okay book so I'm not sure if I'll read the book(s) after this- if there are any. The ending is open, so I assume there is. Talk about a surprise - a great book with a teen girl POV, written by a dude, set in Seattle (makes me wanna move there even more!) And a bit of crazy synchronicity (or something, if I remember my Grimm-based definition correctly): when I sat down to read it, "Werewolves of London" was playing on my radio. When it finished, I changed the station, and kept it there for a while - then when the big twist came along, "Werewolves of London" started up again on the other station!
